My art comes from a love of animals and the natural world. Originally from Manchester I spent my childhood exploring the often hidden patches of wilderness found in all towns and cities.
Later I moved to East Lancashire where I worked as a gardener. During that time my hobby slowly changed into a part time job when I did commissions for the Lancashire Wildlife Trust and the National Trust, in addition to private pet portrait commissions.
I now live in the beautiful Ribble Valley and concentrate on my art work. My interest in horses and farm animals has come from the many friends I have made here from the equine and farming community. I am very lucky to
have End House Stud Farm on my doorstep where I can always get
inspiration from their magnificent Stallions, beautiful Mares
and lovely foals. If you are looking for a stud farm you should
definitely have a look at their web site End House Stud.
I live with my partner who is a web designer and we have two pet Ferrets Eric and Polie.
